Last September 24, 2017, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) oversaw the second LET board exam in at least 27 testing centers all over the country. A Special Professional Licensure Examination or SPLE was also held in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
In the Philippines, the exam was conducted simultaneously in testing centers in Baguio, Bacolod, Catarman (Northern Samar), Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, Iloilo, Laoag, Legaspi, Lucena, Manila, Rosales, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Pagdian, and Tuguegarao.
Some local government units requested additional testing centers in Mamburao (Occidental Mindoro), Calapan City (Oriental Mindoro), Odiongan (Romblon), Kidapawan (Cotabato), Boac (Marinduque), Virac (Catanduanes), Puerto Princesa City (Palawan) and Masbate City.
The September 2017 LET covered two parts for Elementary (General Education 40% and Professional Education 60%) and three parts for Secondary (General Education 20%, Professional Education 40% and Specialization 40%).
To pass the LET, examinee must obtain an average rating of not less than 75% and must have no rating lower than 50% in any of the tests.

Once an examinee successfully passed the exam, PRC shall announce the schedule of issuance of the Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level Exams.
If you are one of the passers, you will need the following requirements to get your Certificate of Registration:
• Notice of Admission (NOA)
• duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag)
• two sets of documentary stamps
LET passers should personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals. The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies are to be announced.
